The CS3 Launch Conference was held during the day at the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood and Highland, adjacent to the Kodak Theatre. But the InDesign User Group meeting owned the night. With Over 200 people attending the meeting, it was best turnout this group has seen so far.
Terry White, an expert and well-recognized trainer as well as an Adobe employee, gave the presentation of “What’s New in InDesign CS3,” keeping even the coolest and most complicated tips and tricks fun and exciting to learn, with humor and a simplicity that was appreciated by all. Terry demonstrated the many exciting new features of InDesign CS3 while reminding us all of the great innovations of InDesign CS2.

Also at this meeting, I (DeShawn Burton) was announced as the new Chair for the Los Angeles InDesign User Group. I am honored by the title and opportunity to bring this organization to new and exciting accomplishments, and to work with other organizations and application developers to educate, inform, and develop users of InDesign and other Adobe applications.
