Flash is dead. That means that interactive PDFs won’t work anymore. So how is one to share interactive documents with others? Fixed-layout EPUBs along with InDesign’s Publish Online feature are the modern way to create interactive documents. This presentation will show you some of the best practices for creating fixed-layout EPUBs.

Topics include:

  • Understanding EPUB formats
  • Setting up your document
  • Best graphic, video, and audio formats
  • Hyperlinks
  • Creating animations and slideshows
  • Table of contents
  • Viewing and testing your EPUB on a computer
  • Exporting and publishing online
