Chapter representative John Lopez, and Andrew Strauss welcomed everyone to the first LA meeting, and explained what they hoped to achieve with the group. Mike Riley of Adobe Systems, Inc. gave an overview of InDesign CS2 and went over some of the new features for those getting ready to upgrade. John, Andrew and Mike fielded questions and suggestions from the group. There was great participation!
Several items were auctioned off, including books from O'Reilly and a copy of InDesign CS2. DeShawn Burton was the grand prize winner. He took home a copy of InDesign CS2 and the raffle tickets helped pay for the delicious pizza.
